The university has more than 3,800 faculty members and 33,000 students, and is one of Boston's largest employers. It offers bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, and doctorates, and medical, dental, business, and law degrees through eighteen schools and colleges on two urban campuses. The main campus is situated along the Charles River in Boston's Fenway-Kenmore and Allston neighborhoods, while the Boston University Medical Campus is in Boston's South End neighborhood.

Our most prestigious merit-based scholarship recognizes truly outstanding high school seniors with a four-year award of full tuition and certain mandatory fees. Candidates must submit an additional essay. All materials, including the essay and application for admission, must be received at Boston University
Presidential Scholarship
Students with exceptional academic records applying to Boston University are eligible for this $20,000 renewable, tuition scholarship. No additional essays or application forms are required. However, the award process is very competitive, and students must submit their application for admission
