-Australia Awards - The Australia Awards aim to promote knowledge, education links, and enduring ties between Australia and our neighbours through Australia's extensive scholarship programs. The program brings together scholarships offered by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAT), the Department of Education and the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR).

- Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) need to be made directly to participating universities.

-International Postgraduate Research Scholarships - The International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) program focuses on improving the quality of Australian research.

-ASON (Joint academic scholarships online network) - JASON is a postgraduate scholarship search engine. Scholarships in the database apply to Australian students wishing to study at home or abroad, and to international students wishing to study in Australia.

- Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships are internationally competitive, merit-based scholarships provided by the Australian Government that support citizens of the Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas to undertake study, research and professional development programmes in Australia and for Australians to undertake these programmes overseas.

- The Commonwealth Scholarships Program (CSP) assists Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from low socio-economic backgrounds, particularly those from rural and regional areas, with costs associated with higher education.

- Indigenous Staff Scholarships provide professional development opportunities to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff working at universities. The scholarships are part of the Australian Government’s plan to help improve education outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in higher education.

- International Postgraduate Research Scholarships. Scholarships are open to international students of all countries (except New Zealand) and are available for a period of two years for a research masters degree or three years for a research doctorate degree. The scholarship covers tuition fees and health cover costs for scholarship holders, and health cover costs for their dependants.

- Ron Castan Memorial Indigenous Peoples’ Scholarships : For Indigenous Australians, Masters Degree in Public Health at the Hebrew University School of Public Health and Community Medicine in Israel

- Indigenous Scholarships : Comprehensive searchable database of undergraduate and postgraduate funding opportunities for Indigenous Australians

- Menzies Foundation : offers one scholarship per year to Harvard University for an Australian who has gained admission to a Harvard graduate school

- Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the United Kingdom​ : Offers opportunities for Australians to study in the United Kingdom and in a range of other Commonwealth countries​

- Swedish Council for Higher Education ASEM-DUO : Scholarships exchange programme between Sweden and Australia for undergraduate and graduate students

- Study in Finland : offers scholarships to Australians for postgraduate studies, research and teaching for 3-9 months at a higher education institution or public research institute in Finland.

- Geothe Institut Australien​ : Offer scholarship and visitor programmes to foster the cultural exchange between Australia and Germany​

- The Government of Mexico : Invites Australian students who are interested in studying for a specialization, master’s degree or doctorate, conducting graduate or postdoctoral research, or taking part in an undergraduate or graduate-level academic mobility programme, to participate in the 2015 Mexican Government Scholarship Programme for International Students.

- Monbukagakusho Scholarship : Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT), offers undergraduate, research, teacher and Japanese studies scholarships to Australian citizens who wish to study at Japanese universities
